December – February, weekdays 9h00 – 11h30
December – February, Saturday 14h00 – 16h30
Cost : R100

Cape Town summers are brutal. Blisteringly hot, and basically dry for six months. With municipal water essentially off limits, we look at infrastructure needed to deal with the heat. We run through boreholes, rain harvesting, grey water usage, wicking beds, indoor growing and the use of micro-climates. With a bit of planning, it is amazing what you will be able to pull through.

This event is now open 19 January 2019 : 14h00 – 16h30
